Ask your QuickBooks numbers, right inside Claude.
Figures syncs your books every morning. Claude and other MCP clients read those figures on demand, read-only.
You ask
Summarize my Profit and Loss this quarter and flag anything that looks off.

Your AI writes the analysis
Example. Claude pulls only what it needs, read-only.
What your AI can do with it
The connector gives your AI five read-only abilities. It reads your numbers; it can never change them.
See connected companies
List the QuickBooks companies connected to your Figures account.
See what syncs
List the reports Figures syncs for each company, with their schedule, status, and when each last refreshed.
Read a report
Pull any synced report as a structured table or CSV, with its period, basis, and the same numbers that land in your Sheet.
Check sync health
See what is fresh, what is stale, and what failed, before you trust a number.

Figures serves the numbers. Your AI does the thinking.
Figures has no AI of its own. It returns your synced numbers, nothing more, so your prompts and the analysis never reach us. And it reads your last sync, never QuickBooks directly, so no chat can reach your books.
Connect it in about two minutes
New to MCP? It is the open standard AI apps use to connect to outside tools and data.
Add a custom connector
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector named Figures.
Paste the Figures endpoint
Use this URL as the connector address:
https://app.figureshq.com/api/mcpApprove read-only access
Sign in with the Google account you use for Figures and approve read-only access to your synced reports.
You need a Figures account with at least one synced company. The connector reads what Figures has already synced, nothing else.
Verified in Claude (Desktop and Cowork). The same connector works in any MCP-compatible client. Custom connectors need a paid Claude plan.
Full walkthrough: connect Claude to your QuickBooks dataBuilt read-only, on purpose
| Read-only | Every tool reads. None can create, edit, sync, or delete. Read-only is enforced on the server, not just promised. |
|---|---|
| OAuth 2.1 | You authorize through a standard consent screen. The connector gets one scope: read your synced reports. |
| You control access | Settings lists every connected AI app with a Revoke button. Revoking cuts access within a minute. |
| Never writes to QuickBooks | The connector reads your synced reports. It has no path to your books. |
Sync your books first. Then ask anything.
An AI can only read figures you have already synced. Connect Figures, sync a report, then add the connector to your AI app.
